Job Description
We are seeking motivated, detail-oriented Filling Technicians/Loaders to join our team. Successful candidates will be responsible for filling oxygen cylinders, loading and unloading deliveries, maintaining safety protocols, and ensuring the efficient operation of our filling plant.
Main Responsibilities
- Cylinder Filling: Safely operate equipment to fill oxygen cylinders according to industry standards and company procedures.
- Quality Control: Inspect and test cylinders for leaks, pressure verification, and compliance with safety standards.
- Loading and Unloading: Assist in the loading and unloading of cylinders for transport using appropriate tools and safety measures.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of filled cylinders, incoming and outgoing deliveries, and inventory levels.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and cleaning of filling equipment, reporting any problems to supervisors.
- Safety Compliance: Comply with all safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and risk prevention measures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures related to compressed gases (preferable).
- Good physical condition, able to lift up to 50 pounds (23 kg).
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
- Having a truck driving license is a must.
